LEARN Propane Cylinder Exchange Safety Training course
content covers propane cylinder characteristics, cylinder
components and cylinder exchange characteristics and technical
information. Topics include exchange information as well as the
safe handling, storage, removal and installation of propane
cylinders, proper protective equipment, procedures, emergency
procedures and regulations.
PROPANE ‘01
FILLING PROPANE CYLINDERS / FILLING MOTOR FUEL TANKS (PP0-03)
Safety course content includes up to date, current national and
regulatory requirements for the transfer of propane into TC
cylinders up to 454 pounds and ASME motor fuel tanks. Includes
filling cylinders by weight or volume methods, information
concerning the “OPD” – Overfill Protection Devices – and filling
procedures required by Measurement Canada.
PROPANE ‘05
CONSTRUCTION (SALAMANDERS, TORCHES, HEATERS) (CH-02)
Safety course content includes up to date, current national and
regulatory requirements for those who are required to connect
and disconnect propane cylinders from various propane powered
equipment such as salamanders, torches, construction heaters –
up to 400,000 btu and propane equipment and appliances used at
mass gatherings.

courses through the Ontario Propane Association as recognized by
OPA / TSSA, as certified & registered instructors and trainers. |
